He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Sr. Moody and Ethelyn H. Moody. He is survived by: his wife Marion "Rea" Hoyt Moody; his children, Thad Moody (Roxanne), Kimberly Moody (Gordy Scannell), Shawn Moody (Christina) and Winship "Chip" Moody, Jr. (Suzanne); his stepdaughters, Anne Beall and Katherine Ellinghausen (Tom); and his siblings, James L. Moody Jr. and Beverly McGraw. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
