He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. O'Gara and Margaret O'Gara (Wilson); and his brothers, John, Richard, Robert, James and Philip.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly (Irish); his children, Beth O'Gara (Brian Poitras) of Westbrook and Michael O'Gara of Westbrook; and his grandsons, Alexander Otis and Tanner Otis (Michaela).
