He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Pike and Elmer Pike; his siblings, Kenneth, Stanley, Marion Morton and Mary Loeffler; and his parents-in-law, John Loeffler, George Morton, Lois Pike and Phyllis Pike.
He is survived by: his wife Ruthie of Westbrook; his children, Patricia Hatch of Urbana, IL, Marie Pike (John Manderino) of Scarborough, Susan Lofgren of Gorham, John Pike (Marian Chamberlain) of Standish and Katherine Pike of Berthoud, CO; his grandchildren, Kristen Vreeland (Jake), Derek Lofgren (Theresa), Kari Lofgren, Adrienne Pike, Jessica DeYoung (Brian), Isaac Hatch and Grace Hatch; his great grandchild Indra Pike; his brothers, Earl and Carl; his sister-in-law Joyce; and also Sue.
