He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Mello and Virginia Mello; his wife Donna Mello; his sons, Wayne Mello Jr. (Chandra) and Jim Mello (Mary Lyn); his sister Donna Leighton; his great-niece Sheylan Hamm; and his brother Frank Mello Jr.. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
