He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Preston and Freda Preston; his wife Carol; his son Steven; and his sister Carolyn Bellerose (Kay).
He is survived by: his children, Jana Swift (Robert), Rick Preston of Westbrook, David MacDonald (Judy) of Norway and Jeffrey Patterson of Portland; his grandchildren, Mysti, Bobi, Billee, Devin, Josh, Logan, Haley, Chelsea and Robbie; and his brothers, Richard Preston (Linda) of Hope and Steven Preston (Elaine) of Casco.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (380 Stroudwater St, Westbrook, ME 04092). A reception was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the American Legion - Post 62 (17 Dunn St, Westbrook, ME 04092).
