He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Merrill and Robert Strout. He is survived by: his close friend Mike Caron; his friend Richard Exchange; his daughter Cady Day of Oxford; his former wife Claudia Day-Strout of Oxford; his sister Terry Strout-Wade (Dan) of Westbrook; and his nieces, Serna Bissonnette of Fryburg, Keli-Rae O'Keefe of Gorham and Jessica Morris (Ray) of Frederica, DE. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
