She was predeceased by: her parents, James Laffin and Mary Crozier Laffin; her husband Raymond Poitras; and her half-sisters, Gloria Laffin of Montreal and Doris Hanson of Westbrook.
She is survived by: her children, James (Anita) of Windham, Eugene (Cyndee) of Westbrook, Scott (Kathy) of Casco, Toby of Westbrook and Raylene Morse (Gordon) of Standish; her sister Helen Hyland of Ontario, Canada; and her pets, Lenny and Billy. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one expected great grandchild; 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
