She was predeceased by: her parents, Myron Adams and Evelyn Berry Adams; her husband Grover C. Barbour; her son Gilbert Lawrence "Larry" Barbour; and her siblings, Myron "Buster" Adams, Robert "Bunky" Adams, Shirley Bartlett and Donald Chamard.
She is survived by: her siblings, Charles Chamard and Dora King; her granddaughter Evelyn Barbour (Richard Rubin) of Brunswick; her brother Jeremy Skelton (Abby) of Minot; her nephew Noah; her niece Eleanor; and also Martha Francoeur. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Mabel volunteered and made food for many charity events, and knitted mittens, hats, and baby blankets for loved ones and the NICU.
