He was predeceased by: his brother William (Kit); his parents, Scott Kittredge and Evelyn Kittredge; his niece Mariah; his in-laws, Mary and Erlon Bean; and his brother-in-law Peter Bean.

He is survived by: his wife Penny; his siblings, Scott (Redge), Joel and Evelyn (Rie); his sister-in-law Nicolette; and his nieces and nephews, Amanda, Leslie, Monica, Corwin and Jeremiah.

In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to Darrowby Farm Sanctuary in Jefferson.
