He was predeceased by: his father John E. Sherman Sr.; and his grandparents, Edward C. Sherman Sr., Charles and Pauline Perry. He is survived by: his daughter Cydney Sherman; his mother Regina Sherman of Westbrook; his grandmother Pauline Sherman of South Portland; and his sisters, Geri-Lynn White of Westbrook and Kimberly White-Brinkley (Wesley) of French Lick, IN. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
