He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold and Eliza "Liza"; his former wife Mary Allen (Sweetsir); his adoptive son Mark Brian Allen; his stepson Brian May; his brother Philip Allen; and his half-sister Nancy Buzzell.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Allen (Lachance); his children, Roxanne Montgomery (Allen), Charles W. Allen (Bernice Allen), Edith Tarbell (Marcel Poirier) and Bennett Allen (Beverly White); his stepdaughter Tina Pike (Daniel Pike); his grandchildren, Jesse Edwards, Tyler Libby, Shannon Mains (Allen), Amber Stewart (Allen) and Sean Duricko; and his great grandchildren, AJ Mains, Mary Mains, Kyle Mains, Alexis Libby, Leah Stewart, Lincoln Stewart, Stanley Allen, Wesley Allen, Hunter Allen, Garrett Allen and Colby Duricko.
