He was predeceased by: his parents, William Afthim and Margaret Afthim (Pineau). He is survived by: his siblings, Joan Jackson of Auburn, Elaine LaBrie of Bangor, Connie Dwyer of Upton and Mike Afthim; and his sister-in-law Jane. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
