She was predeceased by: her brother Paul Mitchell; her stepbrother Matthew Frechette; her brother-in-law David Nashawaty; and her stepfather Travers Putnam. She is survived by: her parents, Jon Stafford Mitchell Sr. and Sharon Lee Mitchell-Putnam (Cote) of Westbrook; her husband Scott Nashawaty; her daughter Alison Pearl of Westbrook; her stepmother Linda Mitchell of Dayton; her siblings, Jon Mitchell Jr. (Deanna) of Windham, Mary (Michael Levine) of Westbrook, Larry Mitchell (Valerie) of Old Town, Samuel Mitchell (Laurie) of South Portland and Thomas Mitchell (Erin Mussenden) of Portland; her parents-in-law, Elizabeth Nashawaty of Dennisport, MA and Albert (Carolyn Nashawaty) of Taunton, MA; her brother-in-law Michael Nashawaty (Eleni Balasalle) of Jamaica Plains, MA; her nephew Jeremy Mitchell; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Chloee and Forest of Florida; her nieces and nephews, Olivia Mitchell of Hollis and Jamison Levine of Westbrook; her sisters, Amelia and Josephine Mitchell of South Portland; her friend Elizabeth Johnson of Westbrook; and her close friends, Amanda, Scott and Ali. She is also survived by friends and extended family.

Due to Maine State Covid-19 guidelines social distancing of 6 feet will be required by those who attend and a maximum of only 3 visitors at a time will be allowed in the funeral home.
