He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Moses Smith and Mildred Brown Smith of West Farmington; his son James Harvey Smith; his sister Elaine Smith Cote; his nieces, Melanie and Celeste Cote; his brother-in-law Lawrence Yeaton; and his nephew Stephen Yeaton.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Sharon Bouchard (Mike), Stacey Farrand (Chuck) and Joel Smith (Karen); his great grandchildren, Zoe and Ronan Bouchard; his siblings, Gaynelle Yeaton and Brent Smith (Bertha); and also, Fred and Jo Lesperance. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
