He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Hopkins; his former wife Dorothy Hopkins; and his son William Hopkins. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen A. Morey (Robert D. Morey) of Springvale, ME, Cheryl M. Dunwoodie of Tewksbury, MA and Margaret Hopkins; his parents-in-law, Beth and Fred Libby; his grandchildren, Nicole Montgrain of Pepperell, MA, Shannon Belanger of Dayton, ME, Krysteen Hopkins, Melissa Staudinger of Pepperell, MA, Stefanie Hopkins of Waterboro, ME, Lauren Morey of Springvale, ME and Kyle Crear of Tewksbury, MA; and his great grandchildren, Aislyn Montgrain, Dustin Hopkins, Jaelyn Staudinger, Brennan Belanger, Sullivan Frenette, Morey Belanger, Bree Staudinger, Scarlette Frenette, Lily Staudinger and Wyatt Housman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hope Memorial Chapel (480 Elm St, Biddeford, ME 04005). A Mass was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
