He was predeceased by: his father Zdzislaw Chmielewski; his parents-in-law, Eugeniusz Zuk and Anna Zuk; and his nephew Nicholas Zuk. He is survived by: his wife Grace Chmielewski; his daughters, Elizabeth and Jessica Chmielewski; his mother Czeslawa Chmielewska; his sister Grazyna Chmielewska-Bis; his siblings-in-law, Mirek Bis, Ted Zuk, Wendi Zuk, Frank Zuk and Michelle Zuk; and his nieces and nephews, Hubert Bis, Wiktoria Bis, Brianna Zuk, Shayna Zuk, Kyle Zuk and Katelyn Zuk.
