It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elmer Oswald Brown (Wells, Maine), born in Trucksville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Evans Brown and Cora Brown Hay; his siblings, Richard, James, Donald and Dorothy (Townsend); and his daughter-in-law Denise Penkalski Brown.

He is survived by: his wife Fern; his sons, Joseph Brown and Dr. Michael Brown Dowling; his brothers, Dale and Edward; and his grandchildren, Kaelan, Minerva, Sam, Landon and Cora. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
