It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Laber of Wells, Maine, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 25, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Evans Walter and Frank Orson Walter (Larry J. Laber). She is survived by: her sister Lynn Walter Meier; her brother-in-law Paul Meier of Asheboro, NC; her nieces and nephews, Melodie Laber Chapman (CJ Lisi) of Portsmouth, NH, Marci Laber Poulin (Ron), Mike Meier (late Yung Chi) of Sophia, NC, Jodi Meier (Mike Overly) of Asheboro, NC and Carrie Meier (Kevin Wetter) of Belmont, NC; her great-nephew Timothy Chapman (Lucyana) of Kittery, ME; her great-niece Acacia Rose Overly of Asheboro, NC.; and her husband Larry J. Laber.
Due to COVID-19, there will be no public memorial service.
