He is survived by: his wife Stina Helene Thorland of Fitjar, Norway.; his children, Jonathan Thorland Flannery, Patrick Lars Flannery and Jennifer Louise Flannery Elliott (Thomas); his sister Louise Sheridan; and his grandchildren, Jonathan, Jackson and Bearnard.
