He was predeceased by: his parents, Lt. Colonel William Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Dickerson (Galloway); his wife Janet B. Finson Dickerson; his son Terence D. Dickerson; his siblings, Vincent Dickerson, R. Delane Dickerson Duggan and Patricia Dickerson Bruce; and his sister-in-law Janice B. Finson Dickerson.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas R. Dickerson (Patte), Tam Dickerson Gowen (Tim) and Tracy Dickerson Thibodeaux (Gary); his grandchildren, Steve Moisen (Kristen), Justin Gowen, Preston Gowen, Amber Gowen Ferchak (Adam), Madeline Thibodeaux and Alexis Thibodeaux; his godchildren, Alaina and Audrey Borst; his brothers, William Dickerson and Robert Dickerson; and his siblings-in-law, Pam Reeves, Faye Dickerson and George Bruce. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
Due to the restrictions in place for Covid-19, a private funeral service will be held on September 30.
