It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claire L. Bennett of Wells, Maine, born in Brockton, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 9, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John R. "Jack" Bennett; her daughter Eileen M. Bennett; her child-in-law Thomas Page; and her siblings, Herbert Lambert, Thyra Carnes and Muriel Pellegrini.

She is survived by: her children, Michael S. Bennett (Anne) of Chelmsford, David J. Bennett (Kathleen) of Mineola Florida, Susan L. Page of Bourne and Catherine A. O'Brien (John) of Waltham. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
