She was predeceased by: her husband Tom; her sisters, Patricia and Mary; her brothers-in-law, Bill Cantwell and George Brady; and her mother Mary Cahill (Coonley).
She is survived by: her children, Tom Leonard (Howard Castonguay) of Portland, ME, Mark Leonard (Kim) of Cortland, NY, Michael Leonard (Kelly) of Palmer, Alaska and Marybeth Shay (Patrick) of Newburyport, MA; her grandchildren, Kady, Dan, Taylor, Molly, Ronan, Ava, Conall, Eamon Leonard, Michael, Rob and Annie Shay; her great grandchildren, Ean, Owen, Fin and Remy; her sister Sally MacBride (Gus) of Auburndale, MA.; her siblings-in-law, Karen, Bob, Roz and George Leonard; and her aunt Kay.
Should friends choose, memorial donations in Kay's name are encouraged to one of Kay and Tom's favorite charities: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
