Alice Tressa Gowen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alice Tressa Gowen (Wells, Maine), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 10, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Winn and Florence Winn; her husband Carroll Gowen; and her sisters, Mae Cady and Freda Eldridge.
She is survived by: her sister Ellen Mercer (Victor); her children, Carole Blier (John), Trisha Maling (Greg) and Timothy Gowen (Tam); and her grandchildren, Melissa Sibley (Mark), Kim Dion (Mitch), Alison Maling (Teofilo Landor), Nate Maling (Kristi), Heather Menard (Mike), Justin Gowen (Erin Connolly), Preston Gowen (Jessi) and Amber Ferchak (Adam). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bibber Memorial Chapel - Wells (111 Chapel Rd, Wells, ME 04090). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, in her honor to the Ogunquit Baptist Church P.O. Box 874, Ogunquit, ME 03907.
