He was predeceased by: his father Leon Giroux of Oakland; and his stepfather Gabriel Dostie of Sidney. He is survived by: his wife Misty Giroux of Benton; his daughters, Monique Giroux of Tennessee, Ariel Giroux of Benton and Victoria Giroux of Norridgewock; his mother Donna Dostie of Sidney; and his sisters, Tammy (Bill Mullen) and Cheryl (Jim Wentworth). He is also survived by 3 nieces; 1 nephew; 1 great niece, and several Aunts & Uncles.
In lieu of Flowers, Donations may be made to the Waterville Humane Society, 100 Webb Road, Waterville, Maine 04901, whereas the Kennebec Behavior Health of Skowhegan will be donating on behalf of Shawn to the Waterville Human Society due to his love of animals.
