She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernal Vashon and Modeste Poissionier; and her brother Gordon Vashon (Annine Vashon). She is survived by: her husband Richard A Brown; her stepchildren, John Brown (Lesa Brown) of Sidney, Debra Brown Tiner of Portland and Mike Brown of Albion; her nieces, Sylvia Vashon Kowaleuski of Winslow and Brenda Lary (Jeff Lary) of Hartland; her nephew Mike Vashon of Richmond; and her close friend Beverly Busque Mott (Craig Mott).
