With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Lai (Waterville, Maine), who passed away on December 6, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her friend Flo Welch; her son Christopher Lai of Tacoma, WA; her grandson Nicholas Dumont (Sara) of Winslow; her great grandchildren, Diana and Camille; her siblings, Ricky Smith (Mary) of Oakland, Darlene Chamberlain of Fairfield and Peggy Violette (Lucien) of Oakland; her nieces and nephews, Dale Violette of Oakland, Joshua Chamberlain of Hallowell, Ming Zhang of San Francisco, CA, Tabitha Lachance of Winslow, Heather Cookson of Fairfield, Kitty Zhang of San Francisco, CA and Kathy; her parents, Montague Smith and Gloria Smith; her brother Robbie Smith; and also Sun Lai.
