With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet F. Mitchell of Waterville, Maine, who passed away on December 16, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Paul "Ginger" Fraser; her husband Robert; her mother Phyllis Fraser; her parents-in-law, George and Mintaha Mitchell; her siblings, Robert Fraser, Gordon Fraser, Mary Woods (Chester Woods), Ada Fitzpatrick, Constance White and Haddon Fraser; her in-laws, Paul, Yvette Mitchell, John, Prinella Mitchell and Edward Atkins; and her son-in-law Harold Friedman.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Mitchell (Judy), Ann Mitchell, Carol Mitchell (Deen Haleem), Mary Mitchell Friedman, Peter Mitchell (Louella), James Mitchell and Joseph Mitchell; her siblings-in-law, Barbara Atkins, Senator George Mitchell (Heather) and Joan Fraser; and her granddaughter Jessica. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
