He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mayo and Corris Mayo; his wife Beverly Mayo; his son Jeffery Mayo; his daughter-in-law Tina Mayo; and his grandson Aaron Wadleigh.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Mayo, Stephen Mayo (Melanie), James Mayo, Corrisann Vigue (Joey), Donna Fortin (Bob), Timothy Mayo (Karen), Mary Wadleigh (Brian) and Ronald Mayo (Heather); his daughter-in-law Genie Mayo; his brother-in-law Derwood Works (Debbie); his grandchildren, Rob Fortin (Christy), Krystal Blaisdell (Josh), Nicole Fortin, Ashley Johnston (Mac), Krysten Bailey (Ryan), Brittney Turner (Ricky), Chelsea Mayo (Jonathan Baker), Katye Mayo-Chipman, Cody Vigue (Brittany), Lindsay Mayo, Casey Wadleigh, Lauren Wadleigh, Andrew Mayo, Ethan Mayo, Grace Mayo and Lucas Mayo; and his great grandchildren, Aubrie, Robbie Fortin, Rylynn, Adalyn Turner, Kinzley, Kiley Vigue, Declan, Corbin Johnston, Hazel, Holden Bailey, Kaden Mayo-Chipman, Drake Johnson and Hannah Clowes.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lawry Funeral Home (8 Elm St, Waterville, ME 04901). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Notre Dame Catholic Church (116 Silver St, Waterville, ME 04901). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Notre Dame du Perpetual Secours Catholic Church (116 Silver St, Waterville, ME 04901).
