We bid farewell to Clara Belle Hamlin of Waterford, Maine, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 11, 2025 at the age of 89. Clara Belle touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Foster and Myra Foster; her husband Walter "Bud" Hamlin; her daughter Wanda "Callina" McNair; her stepdaughters, Cynthia Hamlin and Pamela Ward; and her sister June Stearns (Richard).
She is survived by: her siblings, John Foster (Agnes) of Florida and Jo Bradeen of Auburn; her son David "Wally" Hamlin (Patty) of Waterford; her stepdaughter Sheryl Hamlin of West Virginia; and her grandchildren, Benjamin Hamlin (Eva), Nikki Hodgkins (Matthew), Dawn Hagar (Douglas), Dori Meservier (Patrick), James Hagar, Justin Hagar (Kris), Buck and Nathan Ward. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Waterford Congregational Church (15 Plummer Hill Rd, Waterford, ME 04088).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Waterford Congregational Church.
