He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gerald and Norma J. Ames; his brother-in-law Chuck Hobbs; his wife Karen; his son Michael Ames (Mairi Marning) of Franklin, Maine; his former wife Angela Sargent of Sullivan, Maine; his stepchildren, Niki Foss of Sullivan, Tammy Lynn Brackett of Bingham, Maine and Nathan Brackett of Saco; his grandchildren, Eamon, Izaiah, Owen, Upton and Annika; and his siblings, Dana Ames (Patty) of Buxton, Cheri Hobbs of Portland and Carla Arnott (Charles) of Easton, MD. He was also cherished by many loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
