He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank E. Steinmeyer and Dorothy Steinmeyer (Finn); his son-in-law John J. Crane, IV; his in-laws, Lester and Delia Moore; and his brother Henry "Carl" Steinmeyer.
He is survived by: his wife Verona Faye Moore; his stepdaughter Tami Bryant Crane; his stepgrandson John Crane V. of Port Clyde; his daughter Nicole Steinmeyer Ladner (Gary) of Gardiner; his grandchildren, Kristen and Meagan; his son Douglas Steinmeyer (Tracy) of Rangeley; his grandchildren, Allison, Emmit (Emily) and Jacob; his brother Ray Steinmeyer (Ruth) of Sidney; his niece Leah of Bizby, AZ; his sister-in-law Eileen Steinmeyer of Vermont; his nephew Michael of California; and his niece Cheryl Hulbert (Scott) of Vermont. He is also survived by her children; and many great nieces and nephews, and very close friends.
