He is survived by: his parent George F. Gay; his stepfather James Harbaugh; his mother Betty Harbaugh of Portland; his siblings, Gregory Gay of Portland, Gerald Gay of Sanford, William Cuddy of Portland and Susan Utterstrom of Westbrook; and his son Paul Utterstrom of St. Petersburg, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
