He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Ted" Maynard and Elsie McLellan Maynard; his son-in-law Bob Blackstone; his siblings, Audrey Bell, Winona Riley and William "Bill" Maynard; and his brother-in-law Raymond Chase.
He is survived by: his wife Rowena Maynard; his daughters, Bonnie Blackstone, Barbara Leach (Rodney) and Lorrie Shelton (Craig); his sisters, Fern Chase, Linda Brown (Buddy), Donna Gahagan (Joe) and Gloria Jones (Joe); and his siblings-in-law, Mattie Maynard, Neil Riley and Bob Bell. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
