It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Bean of Warren, Maine, born in Whitefield, Maine, who passed away on July 20, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alford Wiley and Ruth Moody Wiley; her husband Ed; and her siblings, Flora, Aubrey, Roland and George.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Gamage (Ronald) of Thomaston, ME and Edward "Ted" Bean (Carol Brazier) of Waldoboro, ME; her sisters, Agnes Crockett of Nobleboro, ME, Celia Waltz of Warren, ME and Donna Dow (Bill) of Waldoboro, ME.; her grandchildren, Krystal Gamage of Rockport, ME and Steven Bean of Warren, ME.; and her sister-in-law Audrey Wiley (Verna) of Appleton, ME.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family has requested that donations in Verna's name be made to Pope Memorial Humane Society, P.O. Box 1294, Rockland, ME, 04841-1294.
