He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann; his children, Terri Mahoney of Northport and Michael Mahoney (Lisa); his grandchild Hanna (Matt Dugoni) of San Francisco, California.; his brother Peter Mahoney of Warren Maine; and his pet Shelby. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
