She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mendes and Medora Mendes (Maynard); and her husband Parker Spofford. She is survived by: her sons, Michael and Peter Zani of California; and her stepsons, Dana Spofford of Waldoboro and Todd Spofford of Augusta.
