He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry N. Merrill and Pearle C. Merrill (Cogswell); and his brothers, Jason and Joel Merrill. He is survived by: his wife Shannon Linn Merrill of Waldoboro; his stepson Ian C. Simmons (Jess Allen) of Waldoboro; and his siblings, Matthew Merrill of Colorado Springs, CO, Daniel Merrill (Janet Dwelley) of Thomaston and Kathy Dudley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
