She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Debra Gagne Jeffers (Lee Jeffers) of Manchester, Connecticut; her daughter-in-law Becca Gagne of Scotland; her grandsons, Harry and Steven; her son Douglas Gagne (Courtney Desautell) of East Haddam; her grandsons, James and Miles; her son Mark Gagne (Michele) of Willimantic; her grandchildren, Daniel, Nathan and D. J. Hettinger; her husband Harold Gagne (Hap); her son Mitchell; and her parents, Claude Jean Joseph Duchesneau and Ruth Helen Duchesneau (Nichols). She was also cherished by her extended family and friends.
Brenda was 81 when she finally succumbed to complications from Alzheimer's disease.
