She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Guptill and Ruth Guptill; her husband Charles "Bud" Mitchell; her daughter Katherine M. Geary; and her siblings, Virginia, Vera, Bill and Albert Lester.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ellen L. Mitchell (Kevin Hopkins) of Vinalhaven and Lucy M. Bickford (Dan) of Vinalhaven; her son-in-law William Geary Sr. of Rockland; and her grandchildren, Michael, Suzette, William Jr., Jeffrey, Joanna, Alexandra, Danielle, Samuel and Joseph. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
