He was predeceased by: his parents, George Solomon and Mary Solomon (Howanitz); his son George; and his sisters, Margie, Mary Jane and Lorraine.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Elizabeth Grober; his daughters, Bonnie Slater (Frank) of Vienna, ME and Terri Solomon of Manville, NJ; his brother-in-law Steve Grober of Hillsboro, NJ; and his granddaughter Jennifer Migliore (Michael) of Manville, NJ.
