With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Lemieux (Vassalboro, Maine), born in Waterville, Maine, who passed away on December 11, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Lemieux and Fern Lemieux (Leathers); his granddaughters, Isabella Lemieux and Katherine White; and his father-in-law Robert Elwell.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth (Elwell); his children, Adam Lemieux (Tania) of Illinois, James Lemieux (Stacey) of Pittsfield and Sarah Watson (Tyler) of Vassalboro; his grandchildren, Julia White of New Jersey and Nicholas Lemieux of Winslow; his stepgrandsons, Edward and Charlie Cubberly of Illinois; his siblings, Bernard (Pam) of Vassalboro, Keith (Karen) of Winslow and Sheila Lemieux of Vassalboro; and his mother-in-law Erma Elwell of Benton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the Lemieux family respectfully requests contributions in Wayne's memory be made to the Humane Society of Waterville located at 100 Webb Road, Waterville, Maine 04901.
