He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Pitre and Rose-Hélène Pitre (Larouche); his son Jason Pitre; and his siblings, Armand, Emile, Paul, Roland, Robert, Thérèse Pitre and Adéline Corbin.
He is survived by: his wife Claudette Pitre (Roy) of Van Buren; his daughters, Louann Michaud of Middlebury, Connecticut and Gina Pitre of West Hartford; his grandchildren, Eric Jason Pitre, Kyle, Kayla and Matthew Michaud; and his brother Alfred Pitre of Saint-Leonard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
