He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphy Bard and Ella Bard (Bouchard); his wife Fernande Desjardins; his grandson Alain LeBlond; and his siblings, Lawrence, Louis, George-Emile, Camille, Gilbert Bard, Doris Duplessis and Augustine Ouellette.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Bard of Van Buren, Ryan Bard (Mary) of Sidney and Karen LeBlond (Gilles) of Grand Falls, NB; his siblings, Geraldine Amari of New York, Clayton Bard of Florida and Jacqueline Caldare (Michael) of California; his grandchildren, Samuel, Gilliann, Sylvie, Julia and Gregory; and his great grandchildren, Oliver, Elise, Kaleb and Lydia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
