We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2021, at the age of 86, Ella Mae (Carter) Sanders of Unity, Maine, born in Fairfield, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles H. Carter and Lois L. Carter (Whitney); her husband Robert Maurice Carter; her former husband Gerald Wayne Sanders; her son Ricki Patrick Carter; her sister Althea Louise Moody (Carter); her children, David Alan Carter (Rosalyn) of Kentucky, DiAnne Mason of Tennessee, Anthony Robert Carter (Gini) of Iowa, Kathy Marie Vanguilder (Bruce) of Fairfield, TammyJo Carter (Mickey E. White) of Benton and Nicole D. LeClair (Jim) of Norridgewock; her brother Eugene Carter of Smithfield; and her grandchildren, Lina, Christopher, Jason, Jared, KerriAnn, Robert of Michael, A. J., Danielle, Chico, Marie, Steven, Candy, JacyDiAnne, Ricki, Tyler and Jill. She was also cherished by 17 great grandchildren; and 4 great great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
