We are sad to announce that on September 5, 2019, at the age of 96, Lucille R. Esancy Payson (Union, Maine), born in Rockland, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Abrose L. Melvin and Doris E. Ulmer Melvin; her former husband Donald Payson, Sr.; her sons, Laurence I. Esancy and Donald Payson, Jr.; and her sister Dorothy Hopkins.

She is survived by: her spouse Laurence I. Esancy; her children, Gloria, Larry, Barbara and Linda Esancy of Rockland; and her sister Faith Reed (Sullivan) of Owls Head. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchild, as well as several nieces and nephews.
