He is survived by: his wife Jean "Fish" Edwards of Appleton Maine; and his children, Rose Anne Utley, Lawrence Alvin Edwards, Jeanine Lavonne Milinazzo and Robert Thomas Edwards. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
