It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Hinkley of Turner, Maine, born in Lewiston, Maine, who passed away on June 23, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Percival True and Alice Hinkley (Jordan); his daughter Shelia Hinkley; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Samson, JoyCe Hinkley, Pamela and Floyd Richardson.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Hinkley of Turner; his children, Suzanne Denis (Paul) of Clay, NY, Rebecca Elsman (Steve) of Hartford, ME and Michael Hinkley (Julie); his grandchildren, Erika (Jeff Rescignano), Travis (Amanda Denis), Timothy (Erin Denis), Eben M. Breton (Heather Flanders), Lance Neal (Stacey Oswald), Samantha Neal, Lindsey Neal (Matt Gravel), Steven Elsman Jr. (Ariana Leavitt), Natasha Elsman, Desirea Elsman, Stephanie Elsman, Bethany Elsman, Donny Hinkley (Danielle), Scott Hinkley (Jessica May), Daisy Taylor and Shawna Sears (Rick); his great grandchildren, Micke Denis, Jeffrey Rescignano, Greg Buckley, Harley-Rae Denis, Alex Rescignano, Anthony Rescignano, Elijah Denis, Amelia Denis, Oliver Denis, Skye Bennett, Zayne Bennett, Eben R. Breton, Sage Breton, Caitlin Hunnifield, Carter Squires, Chloe Roldan, Danielle Butterfield, Sylvia Butterfield, Hunter Cyr, Taylor Cyr, Charmaine Cyr, Lucas Elsman, Sawyer Hinkley, Milo Hinkley, Kaiden Hinkley, Kolby Hinkley, Alexis Sears and James Sears; his great great grandchildren, Nobalee Sanborn and Eleanor Sanborn; his siblings, Russell A. Hinkley, Sr. of Turner and Arlene Samson of Turner; and his siblings-in-law, Norman and Laura Parks, Jr. of Buckfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
