He was predeceased by: his parents, Beverly Matthews (Jones) and Clayton Leavitt Matthews, Sr.; and his brother Christopher. He is survived by: his wife Debra Anne Dubreuil; his children, Clayton L. Matthews III (Kayla) and Kimberly Blais (Patrick); his grandchildren, Addison, Clayton IV, Owen, Gavin, London and Emma; his brother Andrew Matthews (Cynthia); his sister-in-law Louise Matthews; his niece Stephanie; and his nephew Kevin.
