It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Augustus Hood Jr. of Turner, Maine, born in Livermore, Maine, who passed away on December 8, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustus Hood, Sr. and Cora Hood (Goding); his wife Geneva Warren; his siblings, Janet Mitchell and George Hood; his son-in-law Eugene Jordan; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Hood, Pat Hood and Nellie Hood.
He is survived by: his children, Pamala Gilbert (Reynard) of Turner, Bonnie Jordan of Turner, Crystal Pineau (Mike) of Chesterville, Wendy Hood of Hollis and Warren Hood (Lucy) of Turner; his brothers, Phillip Hood, Sr. of Leeds and Richard Hood of Georgia; and his brother-in-law Burton Mitchell of Leeds. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID protocol, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
