She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Cole and Gertrude Cole (Hustus); her husband Milton Hayes of Troy; her son Gary E Hayes; her siblings, Marshall (Mickey), George, Richard, Laurence (Stubby), Lewis Cole and Marilyn Paquet; her brothers-in-law, Ivan Paquet, Robert Hayes and Paul Hayes (Dennis Littlefield); and her friend Flo Cates Jewett (Florence).
She is survived by: her friend Rowena Mitchell; her daughter Dianne Meserve (Stan); her granddaughter Michelle Hayes; her siblings, Nelson (Marge), Stephen Cole (Brenda) and Brenda Letourneau; and her sisters-in-law, Marjorie, Beverly, Louise Cole and Elizabeth Sullivan (Liz).
